Girls Rock Detroit is looking for new board members who live our mission. As an organization facilitating social change, Girls Rock Detroit is committed to creating leadership that is representative of the diverse community we serve. Detroit residents, people of color, those with disabilities, those who are LGBTQIA+, and immigrants are all strongly encouraged to apply.

Girls Rock Detroit is seeking to add members who can bring some of the following attributes to its Board of Directors:

 

• Community Organizing

• Fundraising/Grant Writing

• Organizational Development

• Social Work or Education Background

• Familiarity with GRD Mission and Programming

We currently meet via Zoom from 6-8:00 p.m., on the second Sunday of each month. Applications are being accepted until January 15th, 2022.  Interviews will take place shortly thereafter, and elected applicants will be informed by January 31st.  Any questions can be directed to info@girlsrockdetroit.org
